Moved Jo Jo, the Fluffy Velociraptor's 'living space' into a different room where we hang out at night, and was really worried that she would freak out and start plucking the feathers that she only recently let grow back.
The first night, she was quiet.
The second night, we heard her quietly making kissy noises to George (her, um, boyfriend?) fav.me/d2ydd8m and the head of Tweety Bird. fav.me/d4ijhgo
The third night ... promptly at 10:00 p.m. she started making her "I am NOT happy!" chirps, so I went to investigate. When I took the cover off her cage, she was staring in the direction of the television. She's learned that if she stares at something long enough, I'll get the hint, whether it's a glass of water she wants a sip from, the garbage can if she has to poo (while she's on my shoulder), or the television. I couldn't figure out what it was about the TV that she wanted, so I pulled her out of the cage, and set her near it. I assumed she wanted to watch it, which she likes to do ... especially nature stuff with singing birds!
But she promptly marched up to the lit up power button and started to attack! I pried her off of it, and turned the TV off and what do you know? She fluffed up and gave me her 'nigh-night' chirp! So, apparently we are not allowed to watch TV past 10:00 p.m. What the ?$*#@!!! And like a dummy, I complied! My hubby and I broke out a couple of books ... you live with a pampered fluffy velociraptor, you play by their rules!
